The project aims to amplify the work of teenage journalists around the world who do stories about their peers who are helping during the pandemic.
The story also put a spotlight on the work of the Ndlovu Youth Choir of South Africa, which filmed a joyful video showing how to safely wash your hands during the COVID-19 pandemic
News Decoder is a global educational news service that helps young people learn about the world’s biggest issues through content production and borderless conversation about important matters of the day.
It has a network of schools in ten countries: China, Colombia, Denmark, France, Italy, Jordan, Spain, South Africa,Tunisia and the United States.
It is is the main media partner for the project and a partner in the Global Youth & News Media Prize.
